Yeah really. Don't we know it's going to be The Black Album? Haven't they already confirmed that? You'd think they'd just announce it since from what I remember it's done or close to done.
There was a nearly 3 month gap between the release of Thank God For Girls and the announcement of the white album. Of course, when they released TGFG they said they didn't have any plans for an album whereas they've been talking about the black album for over a year now.
Scott just mentioned in an interview that it's being pushed back to the fall and is taking a more full band route. He also said that a full band version of Feels Like Summer will likely be the one on the album.
Does "full band" mean more rock-oriented than pop oriented? The whole band performs on the current version, so that terminology seems weird
I'm not sure they actually did. Anyways I'm pretty sure that's what he said in the interview I read, I assume he means more rock-based.
Okay so he says "band version" as opposed to "full band version" Weezer bassist talks summertime single - Vernon Morning Star
Don't know how I'm so late to this but hahahaha what the fuck. Did Weezer just dethrone "Beverly Hills" as their worst song with this?
Acoustic version is nice, but I think Rivers goes WAAAAY too falsetto in the chorus, not really a fan of how that part came out
"Feels Like Summer" grew on me, I don't hate it anymore. I'll take it over virtually all of Raditude or Hurley
I think Feels Like Summer is a decent song. It's never the first song I think of to put on, but when I hear it I enjoy it. That acoustic version is really nice.
I actually like the acoustic Can't Stop Partying on Rivers' Alone album. Just because it sounds super dark and depressing. And I guess the Raditude version is kind of a guilty pleasure.
