How the hell is a song as good as Weekend Woman on the same album as that friggin beach boys song haha

 

Woah, they redid Burning Sun. This isn't bad at all, but then again, it was written in 1999 sooooo

 

Best song so far. This band is maddening.

I'll probably end up liking this record. But "Beach Boys" is just not good....

Yeah, this happens on pretty much every album post-Maladroit.

It's like Rivers pays for all his tongue-in-cheek, cheesy stuff he seemingly loves to put out with an eventual legitimately great song.

 

Same reason Smart Girls is on the same album as Unspoken. Epic inconsistency lol

 

Everybody Get Dangerous is also on the same album as Angel and the One... too many examples

I've liked all the songs that have come out so far. It's more of The White Album but I don't mind

 

Not a chance.

 

Beach Boys is easilly the best of the first three track released. Feels Like Summer is awful.

 

"Beach Boys" is a terrible song.

"Mexican Fender" is pretty good, "Feels Like Summer" is meh, "Weekend Woman" is really good.

Still, none of these are as good as anything on White, in my opinion.

I'll take "Weekend Woman" over "King of the World", "TGFG", and "Jacked Up"

 

I thought Mexican Fender wasn't bad when I listened to it, but I heard it just that once and for the life of me can't remember anything about it

 

King of the World is probably my favorite track on the last album, so I gotta disagree with the above

 

I think that was the 2nd song released right? I do know that's when I really got amped up for the album.

 

Third I think, Thank God For Girls and Do You Wanna Get High were definitely the first two, everyone was scared at that point

 

Do You Wanna Get High is great though

 

New song is good, love the Shannon and the Clams/doo-wop vibe. I think I will like this album.

"Mexican Fender" is the worst of the new tracks so far imho
