Being a fan of Weezer is awesome because people dunk on you for lining Weezer, and then sometimes Weezer dunks on you for being a fan of Weezer

All I know from that band is the BANG song and good lord is that song terrible. I can't imagine that style meshing with this song at all

 

He wrote and was on one of their songs a few years back. I guess that's the connection.

Also that "Bang" song is such a blatant fun. ripoff.

 

I saw AJR as an opening band once and they were so insufferable that I considered cutting my losses and going home.

 

I was more annoyed than I should have been about the singer’s dumb fucking hat, and it continues to annoy me every time I see a photo of that band.

 

No idea who that band is, just listened to "BANG" and the singer definitely kinda sounds like Nate Reuss but it's not like 21 Pilots level cringe. Seems like the kind of bland alternative pop-rock Rivers has been into for a really long time

 

Listened to two more songs and I retract my statement. It is 21 Pilots level cringe lmao. Even Rivers sounds bound on the song he co-wrote.

Never heard of this band but I watched a song called Weak and that guy definitely wants to be Tyler

 

I had a similar thought. Eventually I realized that the hat was part of their dumb schtick.

 

I was picturing like a Jamiroquai hat for some reason until I saw the pic lol
