As the seemingly RARE person who genuinely and unironically loves every Weezer album, I have no fear that this will continue the trend. Can't wait!
I know it's just one song, but I have trouble qualifying how "Thank God for Girls" can possible be considered "safe"
I'd say Green and Make Believe are better examples of the band playing it safe. EWBAITE itself is a much safer version of the more ambitious project they originally planned.
There's a demo in the Red bundle he released that has totally different and less stupid verses. Huge shame it went the direction it did, chorus is incredible though. Until You Love Me is the demo if you have Red set. Y'all are just talking about standard Raditude, not Raditude deluxe right? Either way the album is terrible, but Prettiest Girl in the Whole Wide World is an all timer.
Blue/Pink - amazing, nothing that wasn't in the November leak though Black Room - hundred plus attempts at Oasis type songs, Crazy One from Alone type stuff EWBAITE - ridiculous amount of content, arguably better than most stuff that made the album (but still a lot like those songs soundwise) Pat & Rivers is light on quantity but there are a couple gems.
Honestly at 9 dollars per bundle they’re all worth the money. But there’s some really great content in the EWBAITE, Black Room and Red Album bundles especially.
