"Beverly Hills" is fun, "We Are All on Drugs," is fun, Make Believe is...you get the idea Worst song is easily "Love is the Answer" followed by "Everybody Get Dangerous"
I'd call Beverly Hills pretty OK, definitely nowhere near worst Weezer song. Now it was an unfathomable disappointment when the album came out, but with the amount of goofiness Weezer's had in their music for the last 15 years it stands as a completely decent example of the shitty version of the band imo.
I really hope when touring comes back that they cut back on the covers. Last time I saw them 3 of the 14 songs they played were covers which is wild for a band with as many albums as them
Beverly Hills is my second least favorite song on Make Believe. It's not awful, but it's not really that good either. Always thought it was weird that it's their biggest hit.
The chorus starts the same way and the syllable count is the same, but melodically, it's different enough that I don't think I ever would have made the connection
Worst song and song you like the least are different things. Beverly Hills is the song I like the least.
Their worst album but still holds a special place in my heart. Watching both Oasis and High Flying Birds do Little By Little with the crowd sing a long are such fond memories.
buddy holly is the best video. spike freaked it. heathen chemistry is their worst album but hindu times has an A+ george harrison type riff
Haunt You Every Day is the best song on Make Believe by a longshot for my money. Wouldn't be opposed to calling it the only truly good one. Funny though, for an album I consider pretty trash Drugs and Damage are the only ones I'd consider real bad.
The first time I saw Weezer live, they opened with Tired of Sex and then went right into We Are All on Drugs. Major whiplash.
Yeah I'd say your bottom 5 is accurate. The Prince song just misses on too many levels to not be there. Can't really argue with the worst of the non-Rivers trilogy on Red either haha.
