My understanding, I think, is that it was actually an AAR song they weren't going to use so they gave it to Rivers and he re-worked it. But either way yeah that's why I said that lol
that makes a lot of sense if so. i agree it sounds a lot like them. they’re just a bad band so sounding like them doesn’t work for me lol.
I really can't decide between Love Is The Answer, In The Mall and Where's My Sex for worst. It's definitely one of those though
It's definitely not In The Mall. That's one of the worst songs on Raditude but it's not even in the top five worst Weezer songs I don't think. Cold Dark World, for example, is way worse than In The Mall. So are Love Is The Answer and Where's My Sex
Where's My Sex? Cold Dark World Love Is The Answer We Are All On Drugs The Prince Who Wanted Everything Probably my top 5 worst weezer songs. In the Mall is maybe #6 or #7. EDIT: @phaynes12 there you go lol posted this before I saw what you said
Really digging "All My Favorite Songs"! Definitely get the Beatles / baroque pop vibes from it. Looking forward to hearing the whole record.
Worst Weezer songs: 1. In The Mall 2. Love is the Answer 3. Everybody Get Dangerous 4. Losing My Mind 5. I'm a Robot
I was gonna do a worst weezer songs ranking, but everything I'd rank is from Raditude and Hurley so not gonna bother.
The amount of Weezer i’ve listened to the past week or so has made me enjoy a lot of the material I used to hate.
I'm in the minority here who actually loves Make Believe. My Best Friend is such a departure from everything else on the album. Not only does it not fit, but it's just a really bad song.
Reading about the songs on Death to False Metal on Wikipedia, and this exchange made me laugh: Square Cotton Candy: In the past few years a lot of archival Weezer recordings have started to surface of official releases, particularly revised arrangements of “Trampoline” and “Everyone” on Death to False Metal. Mikey: Everyone is on an album? SCC: Yeah. Mikey: (Laughs)
