pacific daydream and black are pretty unlistenable. white is their best since maladroit, not pinkerton. y’all insane.

 

White isn't THAT good, it's just like... Weezer at their absolute safest, making nice music. I much prefer EWBAITE for post Maladroit albums.

 

EWBAITE is definitely my favorite post-Pinkerton album

 

i haven’t listened to EWBAITE in a while. i remember liking it a good amount but liking white more. it’s their most beach boys inspired and the harmonies are insane

 

I like The Red Album and also (I’m sure people will disagree) I think Hurley isn’t that bad of a record, I don’t see it mentioned too often. It has one of my favorite Weezer album covers at least haha.

 

I honestly haven’t really listened to a Weezer album since Green. I’ve given them all a shot but nothing has stuck.

 

We didn't even make it one damn page into this thread before falling into the same ol conversations, haha

 

Well they didn’t do that and both albums are bad.


EWBAITE had some misses for me. White is solid all the way through.

 

I like Weezer Beach Boys the most out of their sounds probably

 

It would make for a good EP if the first 4-5 tracks were removed

 

my most scorching take is that I’ve grown to really like pacific daydream and actually think it’s better than all the 2000s albums

 

Weezer - Ok Human and Our Lady Peace - Spiritual Machines II both out this year and I am here for it.

 

I don’t know why it takes so little time in every Weezer thread for Weezer fans to express why they don’t like Weezer.

The White Album is better as a whole than Pinkerton is as a whole (El Sorcho is still one of the best fuckin rock songs ever written). Go ahead and fire me into the sun.

 

I like Pacific Daydream but it took me a while. Only songs I don't care for are Beach Boys and Happy Hour, which are pretty easy to skip.

on most days it's my favorite of theirs

 

Brian’s guitar tone is so great on the whole album.

 

I was a big EWBAITE fan until he dropped those demos and I realised it's kinda a pale imitation of what Ecce Homo could have been

still fun music and all, but White wipes the floor with it
