Weezer: Indie Rock Road Trip Tour

With how much talk there was in the tour forum, I figured I’d make a thread for it. Haha

 

Looking forward to my first Forest Hills trip for this.

 

This is apparently the setlist tonight at their Roxy gig. If this ends up being the setlist for the tour, I will be very pleased

Some interesting choices here, only 1 song from all of SZNZ is weird, but I'm not complaining.

 

At least they gave Africa the boot.

aside from it being not the easiest venue to get to (basically LIRR is your only shot unless you live close by and can walk/cheap uber) it has become one of my favorites. great area for pre and post show activities, the venue itself is super cool, and, because its right in the middle of a neighborhood, shows gotta be done by like 9-10pm so no late nights

 

Definitely don't mind LIRR, and it looks like it's under 40 minutes to Secaucus for me. Just happy not to have to drive to PNC or Jones Beach for this.

 

There is a subway stop with the E F M and R train nearby.

 

Also, these Weezer setlists gotta show some love to some minor hits like Photograph, Keep Fishin and Dope Nose. Much rather have that than Perfect Situation for the millionth time.

I was severely bummed by the setlist I saw at Madison Square Garden for the Pixies co-headlining tour (4-5 covers, dear god) but this setlist is definitely going to get me to Forest Hills. Joyce Manor doesn't hurt either.

 

Weezer was fun tonight.

Irvine show was really fun last night. The band was on point. Loved the stage setup. Rivers busted out an acoustic version The World Has Turned And Left Me Here which is my favorite Weezer song, and in general, one of my favorite songs of all time. This was my 4th Weezer show and hands down the best one yet!

 

Going tonight to the SD show. Very excited

 

Loved the show last night. First time seeing a show at that venue and wow I love it. Loved the acoustic portion of the set and the visuals on stage throughout the whole set.
