Im going to the SF date of the hella mega tour. would be cool if Metallica came out and joined.

 

It still blows my mind that a requirement of Hella Mega is not nightly revolving intraband covers.

I think there was a tour back in the day where Blink proposed this to Green Day, and Green Day said no lol.

 

Not bad, but not good. Just meh. Positively, this is the best Rivers has sounded in a while.

I think it’s both of them. Parts of it are definitely not Rivers.

Also, this band does the most boring covers lol. There is nothing about any of their covers that would make me choose to listen to their version over the original.

 

That first line sounds like someone else for sure. Rivers is obviously singing at parts but “Rolling Stone confirms” doesn’t really mean there isn’t also another singer.

I enjoyed this, but I agree, if I want to hear Enter Sandman, I’m going with Metallica, not Weezer. I imagine Weezer just covers whatever songs they want because it’s fun and they release some because, why not?

 

First line is 100% Rivers, surely?
