Chorus is catchy as hell but the verses are so bad (mostly in the lyrical department). However... you know it could be a lot worse so I ain't mad at it.
Hilarious video. But as much as the idea of Butch-production excited me, this song did nothing for meh
Damn, that's wild. White Album might be my favourite Weezer album. Thought most of the songs on that were better than this one, and this one isn't a bad song at all.
Try the whole thing. White and the album immediately before it (Everything Will Be Alright in the End) are two of my favorites from Weezer.
I really like the lyrics in the verse. It's a style of writing we've heard from Rivers before that's so quirky and unique and it fits certain songs so well. I wouldn't like an entire album of it, but a Thank God for Girls is fine by me
Apparently this new album just kinda took shape after Feels Like Summer was released and the material didn’t fit with the stuff from the Black album so that’s why we’re getting this one. No complaints from me.
I like Feels Like Summer more as a song, though it doesn't work for me as a Weezer song. This song, though it actually has guitars, still doesn't feel much like Weezer aside from the chorus.
