Feel the same about the vocals on bedlam, but I can get past it because of how insane the music is

 

Agreed re:vocals on Bedlam. There’s this high pitched harmony effect that is very grating on that record. I do love everything the band is doing though.

 

Amputecture and Bedlam completely fuck and people often dont appreciate that they were part of the band’s prime

Nocturniquet has a few brilliant moments

Octahedron is completely boring

Octahedron was such a bummer album to end on imo

 

They didn’t end on that album lol

 

Yeah their last one is Noctourniquet which is great

Oct ain't THAT bad but it's definitely their least interesting. Teflon is a cool song. And I guess I'm enough of a sucker for Cedric's vocal melodies and harmonies on the more subdued stuff to still enjoy it.

 

Cotopaxi is one of my favourite songs by them. The album isn't as experimental as their other ones, but I like the fact that they've made a straight-forward album like this.

 

Don’t they consider it their “acoustic” album?
