ok i listened to vol. 3 for the first time in a few years and i'd update my ranking to:

we are not your kind > iowa >= vol. 3 (would be equal with better mastering, album hurts to listen to) >the gray chapter > all hope is gone

none of these records are bad, in fact they're all good, but something about all hope is gone has always given me uninspired vibes. i guess they were obviously in a bad place

 

Vol.3 is probably their best album, but I voted for s/t.
