Really, really tough one here between Resignation and Battle, but I think Battle gets the slight edge

Mandala and Gemini are both fantastic records too, this band is so great. Progress is underrated and Halfway is great for what it is. Never got into the first one

I need to go back to the last two. I always thought the move away from ska was a bummer.

While overall I would be happy with more horns, I do think they absolutely killed it without them, especially on Mandala there's some amazing stuff

  8. Between Resignation and Gemini for me. I think I go to the latter more overall, but the former is quintessential Bandits

He wrenches on it. He thinks it's his.

ATBB is easily #1 for me. I got it on vinyl last year and never realized just how much Joe crushes basslines.

I think Pal Treaux may be my favorite song of theirs.

Resignation landed when I was 17 and just beginning to have opinions, so songs like Newsstand Rock and Overcome were a revelation. And Decrescendo is maybe my favorite album closer of all time.

I would say it’s a tug of war between Resignation and Battle.

Battle does have much better production so I probably should go with that?

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

Gemini hands down, they really nailed something special there. I need to try Battle and Resignation again (for umpteenth time lol) but I can’t get them to click.

A very close run between Resignation and Battle, but Battle wins because the title track is fucking god tier.

If someone asked me "what does RX Bandits sound like?" I would 100% show them Battle's title track. It's everything they do in one song.

Ok, I totally forgot how fantastic Gemini, Her Majesty is.

    Wow.

This rivals Battle and Resignation for sure.

My first encounter with RX was when I saw them open for New Found Glory and H20 in 2001. Was into punk and ska so Progress definitely hit for me and really got me into the band. Loved their messages and vibe. I remember them being super tight live.

The Resignation cemented them as my favorite band for a while and I made sure to see them live every year for the next decade. This was the introduction of what is really their definitive line-up. Choi and Embree's guitar technicality and chemistry is something else. Probably my biggest influence as a beginner guitar player at the time. C-Gak continued to be an unreal drummer. I remember learning that they recorded this album live just blowing my mind. It really captures that energy. There's so many bonkers musical moments on the album and it absolutely rips. There's still touches of ska influence but they're executed so damn creatively. I recall Drive-Thru put out a preview that had like 4 songs and being so hyped and it completely exceeding my expectations. I've loved everything since but, song for song, this is the one.
