Feel free to chime in with his other projects too. I've always been a sucker for Miracle of 86.

Rank em, tell us why, or just pick one.

stuck between make the clocks move and split the country.....but then looking at all his records like this they all seem like they'd be good choices.

between the concrete and clouds is also tempting me bc it's hella underrated and I want it to get some love

Aside from Springsteen, he's probably my favourite artist - Never really understood the huge love for Brothers Blood - by far one of his weakest IMO. Adore Bubblegum, probably his most political, angriest album - but massively catchy

Bubblegum for me. Not by a lot, but I think it's his leanest album.

this was so hard but I had to go with Put Your Ghosts to Rest. It's the most consistently amazing album for me, even if Brother's Blood has higher highs. It was also my first album!

Honestly, if you took all of Kevin’s songs from the latest bad books album and made them an ep, it would probably be my favorite release from him. Those songs are unbelievable.

Concrete also means a lot to me.

As someone who’s only really gotten into his recent stuff, this is giving me the motivation to go dig into the front half of his catalogue.

BB was an easy choice. Ghost was my entry point into his work but BB is what solidified me as a lifelong fan.

That said, Instigator does nothing for me and it makes me sad. Definitely a me problem.

I picked brothers blood but it might actually be bubblegum

I feel Brother’s Blood is the most wheel rounded KD record in terms of musical variety and still balancing the solo artist/Goddamn Band line.

At different points it’s a personal album, a political album, a playful album, an insightful album, and so much more.

KD has a lot of great songs, records, and projects. If I had to recommend an album by Kevin it’s Brother’s Blood.

    Make Clocks Move.

Tapdance tears my fuggin heart out.
Ballgame hits home with my drinking issues.
People Are So Fickle makes me wanna dance every time.
Longer That Im Out Here never gets old.
Splitting Up Christmas is my favorite Xmas song ever, and play it every year when it snows.

Ballgame is my favourite KD song, and the one I’d recommend to anyone who wants to listen.

They fixed your brain when you were young.

Brother's Blood was the first record of his I listened to front to back, so I think it will always hold the title of being my favorite release of his.

Memories like that always rule. Unrelated to KD at all, but I remember the first time I listened to Good Apollo by Coheed on a burnt copy of the cd he'd made me with lyrics printed out and paper clipped together. Stuff like that makes that record my favorite.

I was a real latecomer to the KD party - Always saw his name floating around but only really paid attention when I saw him support Cursive in the UK (around BTCAC era) - Been a huge fan since that night

So late to this, but I'm the same as you. That was the first time I saw Kev, and honestly, I'd still say BTCAC is the most underrated album. It might be my favourite in terms of consistency.
