I forgot Watch the Throne was even a thing. Threw it on there for shits and giggles.

Voted MBDTF even though some days it’s either 808s or Yeezus for me

    Late Registration forever.

After that, either CD or MBDTF, then Graduation, then Watch The Throne. After that, I don’t care which album goes where.

I feel like MBDTF is when he best encapsulated his style, I mean Fergie and Elton John are on the same song and it's a banger

i really find that Ye is one of those artists who almost everyone can agree on a best album but favourite always differs.

Other than Ye they're all good to great, but Yeezus changed me. What an album.

And it’s not even close. I’m in the minority in not really being into his first few. He was just a normal (but very good) rapper then. Got way more interesting at 808s.

He wasn’t a very good rapper, he made very good music though, and he had something to say

Why do you all love Yeezus? I’m actually asking by the way, would love some perspectives.

For me, it in many ways represents the real beginning of the end of Kanye as an interesting rapper (not as an overall artist mind you, the Teyana Taylor album for example is just as beautifully produced as the early Good Music albums) that had some real shit to say. Maybe it’s sonically more interesting to some, though I personally would also rather listen the first two albums’ instrumentals any day of the week.

I voted The College Dropout because "Through the Wire" is the only Kanye song I actually like.

I love it because it was the first I remembered seeing a super critically acclaim artist who wasn’t underground just say fuck you to having a radio hit. He could have easily done MBDTF 2 but he did the thing furtherest from it. Also I’m In It has the hardest beat.
