Weekly Poll: Favorite Green Day Album

Dookie is the one that got me into them and it still has some of my favorite songs of theirs. This one wasn't even that close for me.

 

This one is hard. Kerplunk! was one of the first albums I ever owned. But I still think that Warning is the last great thing they made, so I'll go with that.

 

Dookie, but kerplunk-warning was a great 5 album run.

 

Insomniac. But this is hard. I love so many of them. It’s probably this for my top 3

Yeah I honestly gotta go American Idiot here.

 

Yeah American Idiot was huge for 6th grade me when it was released. My friend’s sister burned me a copy because it had a parental advisory sticker and I have such vivid memories listening to that record. It’s also the album that got me into Green Day. I also love Insomniac, Dookie, and Nimrod.

 

21CB is underrated minus the unnecessary n-word in that one song

 

It's Warning by a long shot. Such a formative one for my tastes.

 

That song is great, though!

 

Dookie is the only one I really love front to back

 

Really stuck between Dookie, Insomniac and AI but gonna give the edge to American Idiot

 

Listening to Dookie for the first time in probably 10 years. Crazy how I still know every word. It was the first CD I owned and was definitely a formative one.

I voted for American Idiot even though Dookie was the first cassette tape I ever bought. Love both of them but slight edge to AI.

 

Insomniac is low-key fantastic, so I went with that one. American Idiot would've been a 5 years back, but that one just hasn't held up particularly well for me over the years and I actually prefer 21CB now. Warning would probably be my #2
