Think I'd be more interested in what would win if 59 sound wasn't included tbh

 

Knew this wouldn’t be close, but I went with Handwritten. I also considered Get Hurt though, that album is super underrated

 

I still love Get Hurt a lot. Have Mercy not being on that album is a crime though

 

I love the softer songs on Get Hurt

Love all their stuff but I went with Sink or Swim because I’ve always enjoyed that it had a little harder edge to it. May not be as polished as their later releases but I kind of like that raw quality in this case.

 

59 Sound just changed a lot for me.

 

The 59 Sound was maybe my third favourite album of 2008.
It's now probably my favourite album of all time.

 

Going with Get Hurt. That album gets more plays than any other of theirs.

 

I personally like American Slang the most, as far as Gaslight goes, but Sleepwalkers is my favorite thing Brian has ever done.
