The Weak's End. I miss that drummer.

The Party Song really put me off. Weak's End and Question are top notch.

The Question will always hold a special place in my heart but Shallow Seas is easily their most solid record imo

Easily In Shallow Seas. That album connected immediately with me in a way none of their other material did.

YWNA is the runaway favorite for me. Their most mature songwriting on a diverse yet cohesive record.

The even-numbered Emery albums are all their best, but ISSWS is their masterpiece. It’s quintessential Emery firing on every cylinder.

definitely Shallow Seas for me but YWNA is much closer than you may think

I went with the question. It’s just such a classic album for the genre

  11. In Shallow Seas We Sail for the same reasons as above but The Question and You Were Never Alone aren't far behind. The latter has jumped out as one of my favorites in the last few years and is underrated.

Dave is amazing, you’re missing out on a great current drummer.

  14. While we're talking about the drums, YWNA is pretty much Dave giving everything he has and crushing it front to back.

    Eve

    We do what we want

This is where I’m at. I like them all but WDWWW is probably an album I only like Bc it’s Emery haha.

    I do not exist.

I went with In Shallow Seas We Sail but honestly I could go with Eve, The Weak’s End or The Question and still be happy.

I love I’m Only A Man and YNWA too but they’re a tiny step down.

We Do What We Want is the only album that I’m not too bothered about. And that’s only because the others are so good that i’d rather listen to them.

Oh I know, I just happened to see Seth at one of my first shows ever in HS and he made such an impression on me and I have a lot of nostalgia for that and his drumming.

There’s a funny story involving Seth and a try out for Dustin kensrues church worship band and Seth not being good enough to make it after years of not playing haha

Ain’t that the truth. YWNA really snuck up on me with time.

That's how I feel about The Question v ISSWS.

Anyone listen to the new EPs yet? I still think that the next album could be up there pretty high all 7 songs so far are amazing.

For those who don't know, they are recording 4 eps for special (Emeryland) audiences and then combining the best songs into an LP.

I’m enjoying the first two EPs - my only concern is that my mind will get used get used to them in this format and not appreciate them in the context of a full length.
