For me, this is a no brainer. I've always liked a few songs off the discog, but the second I heard TDB, it instantly became one of my favorite records. The raw emotion on that thing is just overwhelming.

All that said, I'd still cut Drinking with the Jocks from the track list. I just do not like that song at all.

TDB and SFAFC are basically dead even for me, I voted for SFAFC tho bc I know TDB is gonna win

This is such a hard choice for me.

I think I’m gonna go with White Crosses. But I love all of the albums, except for Shapeshift honestly.

I actually was turned off ranking Clarity so high for a while, purely because Laura ranked it last, but I really do love that album. Just weird to me when I like an album more than the person that created it lol

same and i remember reading in the book that it was a total nightmare to make

Shapeshift is my last place choice, but I still dig it. It just has 2-3 songs I don't really like

 

I think that album really suffered in that it was written while on tour, while making a tv show, while writing a book

 

If forced to rank I would probably go:

I really want to rank Shape Shift and ESPECIALLY TDB higher than I did, but both have a few songs I really don't care for - other albums are more top to bottom consistent. The best 7 songs on TBD are off the charts great but am not a fan of Jocks, Osama, and 2 Coffins is just okay. Also don't like Provision L3 or Norse Truth. Those are bad songs in my opinion.

PS - random comment - Bob Dylan Dream is a jam and a half. Forgot about that song until just now when looking at tracklists.

TBD is way too fucking good. I do really love New Wave and White Crosses though. Don’t care as much for the early stuff

 

New Wave is the only one I ever got into.

 

New Wave has the only AM! song that I dislike(Stop!) but it also has a top 5 song for me(white people for peace).
