I like both of these songs but neither have kicked me in the nuts in the pre release tracks of the last album
Bleeds will be the record that introduces me to Wednesday. Heard a lot of love for Rat Saw God, but I'm going to wait to dive into older material until I get through my first listen of this. "Elderberry Wine" felt like I was in the middle row of my mom's minivan again and "Wound Up Here" keeps a lot of that melodically but bucks the softness of it's predecessor. Can't wait for the rest of this album. Need a stacked tour of Waxahatchee, Wednesday, and Moselle. If you're not familiar with Moselle, I can't recommend the two singles she's got out right now ("Lucid" and "Sycamore Leaves").
Her stream of consciousness style that I usually love isn’t doing much for me on this song for whatever reason. Record will still be great
Severely obsessing over both of these singles. I said this about Turnstile earlier this month, but this feels like it's going to be another incredible album to blast laying down with the windows open, staring at a ceiling fan on low.
