SO PUMPED. Taylor is one of my favorite songwriters.

 

Hell yeah, new Webbed Wing was not on my 2021 bingo card. BRATM was a great continuation of the Superheaven sound. Feels like I'm gonna love this new one just the same. And dropping on the same day as new Snail Mail. Gonna be a great day.

I feel like Taylor has gotten a lot better over the years at being able to juxtapose sad/introspective lyrics with upbeat music behind it. Definitely can see the lineage from Superheaven, but with more emphasis on a Lemonheads kind of sound. I love this song lol

I have listened to this newest song a dozen times, it’s insanely catchy

 

if anyone else out there was a fan of Taylor's Strange Nerve podcast this is essentially the spiritual successor:

I listened to the first two episodes, it’s pretty good, Taylor is a funny guy

 

I swear every Friday has had at least 2 huge releases. I can’t breathe

 

This is such a fun listen and just wait until you get to Taylor's theme.

Looked at the credits on bandcamp and looks like the guitarist from Eternal Champion played the solo in Taylor's Theme

 

Just checking this one out now and so far, so good. Only on the first song but if it is a sign for things to come, I'll like this quite a bit.
