I’ll check it out. I feel like anytime I happen to see something Max related around here it’s people sorta groaning about him but I didn’t realize he was actually problematic. Love IARB but never liked anything else and sorta tuned them out
I personally was a huge SA fan. S/T is a criminally underrated album but I would be lying if I said Weatherbox didn’t do everything better than them. Plus yeah Max is fucked.
I’ve tried returning to Say Anything and not much has aged well besides IARB. I was a fan back in the day though. Too bad to hear about Max. Don’t really have an opinion on Brian touring with them tbh. I do hope we get some Box news soon.
It’s been like 3 years since he released live recordings of “new” tracks that were previously unreleased so here’s to hoping. I would easily drop $500 towards a Kickstarter for a new record. I miss Brian and his music that much lol
