Yeah, the kick is easily the worst aspect, but the production all around is pretty sterile tbh.

Also I love Flies. I agree it sounds flat at times, but I still jam out to it hard.

Gonna hit both AZ shows this week. I gave up trying to see their setlist so it'll be a surprise on Friday.

 

Their set tonight was short but oh so sweet. Looks like they've been changing it up a bit too. Love it!

 

Thinking about seeing them for the first time this week, what was the setlist like?

Beat Kitchen in Chicago with Enemies and Space Blood. Can't say I've heard of either of those, but for $10 on a Wednesday I'm intrigued haha.

I was so glad they played Drag Out when I saw them. Would love for some other Flies cuts. Love Me a Good Microcosm would be cool.

 

I missed them when they came here with Prawn like 5 minutes from my apartment and I found out like 2 hours later Pinegrove was playing too. I would've killed to see some of the deeper cuts they've been playing

 

I've never seen the devil and I even when they've apparently played it like the same week as every time I've seen them lol

Before No Hands they said it was for the guy who asked for it. Not sure if it's a coincidence and it was already planned or if they played it because he asked.

 

Really hoping these guys release a new album in less than 6 years time.

Got to watch Enemies, too. They were really good.

 

Well, they just dropped off the Chicago date. This sucks. I'm sitting at the venue ordering dinner.
