I just don't think its for me, I don't really like any of these songs

There's tons of bands in whatever genre you want to call this that people have been telling me to get into, that have had like huge emotional impacts on them, and none of them have been able to click for me. Its me not ya'll

 

That's so okay, I hate when people get upset when someone doesn't register with a band that's important to them. You tried and that's cool!

I hobestly think the chorus of this song contains the best hook Brian has ever written.

 

I need more Miss New Buddha.

 

They were only supposed to hit the playas club for bout a month or two :(

 

I've been a casual fan since TCD but I'm only just now really getting into this band's music... and after watching that video posted a ways above, of "Anchors Away," I'm wondering if there was ever a recorded version of that? Cuz it's great. I noticed that part of it is in "BRIAN WINS AGAIN" from the 4-song EP but is that the only recorded version that was ever released?

 

Saw where Brian posted an update on Miss New Buddha today on facebook.

Also somewhat related I saw that Future Crooks are playing a show soon and are said to be playing a bunch of new songs.

Btw...anyone got a pulse on where to get a copy of Afghan Guitar? Slept on getting a discogs copy too long and it's dried up there.

 

I bought it on CD back when it came out, and I think I lost it.

 

I have a copy on CD but I got it during preorders and pretty sure they sold out before the release.

 

I’m glad I got into this band when everything was still relatively easy to get.

 

I was into the band, just not into records at the time.

I got into this band to impress some guy I wanted to be friends with and realized "oh shit these guys are actually amazing"

 

I bought Afghan Guitar on cd from the band the first time I saw them live and then the next morning on my commute I went to put it in my cd player, dropped it and scratched it so that The Bullets never played correctly and then I've never found another one. So sad

 

Does anyone know what Brian's intended order for Flies was? I know track 2 was supposed to open but I can't find any other clues

 

....I honestly didn’t know it wasn’t in the right order. Where did you see that? I think it flows p good.
