i know how much that shit must've meant to zach, man. the final WKUK project with trevor is finally playing in theaters and it coincides with the movie he wrote to process the grief of his passing winning an academy award. overwhelming, emotional, bittersweet. all of the things.
Only person I could name from WKUK is Trevor (now Zach too) but I never searched 'Zach Creggar' before and missed any discussion on him being apart of it.
The way some of the wkuk guys act with Zach now is a little weird on their streams kinda don’t blame him for not wanting to work with them a ton anymore
On paper I would have been fine with it if it’s just Cregger but bringing on the Godzilla x Kong writer severely tanks my interest lol
He’s also giving Madigan her own movie to star in and employing a ton of people who are running lean. Production in Hollywood has dried up a ton, so the more movies being made the better for the people in that industry.
Just make a different movie with those people if that's the case. I don't know that he has a blank check after Weapons, but I'm sure a lot of studios would trust him with something that wasn't a prequel or IP-driven like RE.
He clearly doesn't have a blank check since Netflix wouldn't fund the supposedly insane sci-fi movie he wanted to make next after resident evil who knows maybe RE and this finally get him the blank check though
Is he planned to direct this? If so feels like a waste of his time tbh, i'd rather someone else do it since the machine is already started to get this thing out.
