I can’t remember if he had ever met Aunt Gladys before seeing her in the woods. If he hadn’t yet, I’d interpret it as her actually being there.

 

Then again, she could have weird unexplained powers to infiltrate peoples minds so who knows.

 

iirc, the 'clown' justine saw in her dream in the ceiling was more similar to what james saw in the woods. archer actually saw gladys, which seems interesting.

 

I think they were all Gladys. She’s compared to a parasite, but also a flower. With her pin being either a withered or blooming flower depending on her varying health.

so I think she was in the woods, sticking out like a blooming flower. Maybe she just hangs out there where she’s more comfortable. More realistically it was just a striking image and the most Pennywise she ever looked.

 

That 'clown' wasn't just our first glimpse of Gladys?

 

i didnt think so, i thought the clown justine and james saw looked distinctly different than her, but, i could be wrong for sure.

Yeah I believe they’re all Gladys and that they’re all apparitions, including the one in the woods

 

Yeah I saw it twice and can confirm all of those were Gladys

I’ve never seen poltergeist so I wasn’t even aware that I should be afraid of that clown doll until you explicitly mentioned it. Why are you H-E-double-hockey-sticks-bent on spooking us?

 

Regardless of whether or not you’ve seen Poltergeist, if that clown doesn’t scare you then you have zero survival instinct.

 

I could easily take on a clown this sounds like a skill issue
