Went last night and it was nowhere close to sold out, but was still a fun time! We had a 6 band comprised of a local, Tempting Fate, Currents, Oceans Ate Alaska, The Plot in You and We Came as Romans. Every band sounded super sold but a lot of the crowd cleared out after TPIY.
Not bad. I’m glad they took out that Glad You Came cover finally. Just wish they would play Never Let Me Go and Learning to Survive. Learning to Survive is my favorite song from the new album.
Went last night and it was a really fun show! Quite a bit of people left after Plot and they got a huge “one more song” chant after they played. Overall, a ton of fun and I’m stoked WCAR busted out to plant a seed.
Kind of surprised that a lot of the crowd is leaving after Plot. That’s who Im mainly going for but I’m still staying for WCAR I like their new album a lot
What’re everyone’s thought on tpiy’s new album? There are some songs I like but ultimately I thought the last album was way better
I absolutely love dispose. I know I’ve seen some longtime fans denounce it, so I wasn’t sure how the crowd would be during the new songs, but the crowd basically sang the entire set, definitely seemed into the new songs.
I know it's a hot take amongst the metalcore community, but old Plot is below average in most spots. There's a reason they don't play much old material anymore.
I agree. I don’t hate old plot but it’s nothing that kept me intrigued for more than a random song or two.
I definitely enjoyed it because it's progression at its finest. I still think HISD is the better album (best album by them) easily, but I still enjoyed Dispose.
I never got into anything before hisd but I just fell in love with that album. It’s perfect metal core imo. I’ll have to give dispose another listen. One last time is a great tune
I just love Landon’s voice. I find him super talented. I’ve Always Wanted To Leave, Rigged, and Feel Nothing are my faves from the album
