Album as a whole hadn’t clicked with me as much as I’d hoped, but “Lilacs” and “Fire” are hands down my favourite songs Katie’s ever written.

 

Yeah Cerulean Salt and American Weekend are still my favorites of hers, but the singles off this album are especially great. Those other records are 10/10, this is like an 8/10 for me.

 

I honestly don’t think American Weekend is very good, although I think it showed her potential. Cerulean Salt, though, is a stunner.

 

Interesting I haven’t listened to those records, but OitS is great.

 

They’re all great records imo, as are the PS Elliott songs. I think any record could easily be a favorite.

Holy shit that was so good

 

This might be her best live performance on YouTube. Confident, tuneful, determined, conversational. Whoever worked with them on the visuals and sound (Jimmy Kimmel's team?) crushed it, and her lilac-colored dress really pops against the wildflowers and band.
