Waterparks – “Snow Globe”

Greatest Hits? Oh brother.

 

Going to be the person to say I love this band, but this did nothing for me.

 

it's actually not a greatest hits album. Just terribly named. got this from spotify:
"We just announced our new album Greatest Hits (it’s new songs, not just Stupid For You and Turbulent)"

I disliked the singles for fandom quite a bit but still enjoyed the album, so fingers crossed.

 

I think the only other song from them I really don't like is [reboot] so I'm hoping the rest of the album is more like lowkey as hell instead of this.

 

I absolutely hate "Turbulent." Also didn't really love "Watch What Happens Next" or "Dream Boy." but then I pretty much liked the rest of the album (favorite song is "I Felt Younger When We Met" which is probably my favorite song by them overall).

 

Watch What Happens Next and Dream Boy are both fun singles I think, and Turbulent is a little cringe at times but I don't mind it. I do think the back half of Fandom is so much better than the first though. I also love Telephone a lot.

 

I love this new single like... A lot. Kinda daft pinkish mixed with the weekend and a lot of waterparks flair. The intro and outro are sick. Not a thing I dislike about it! 17 track album so I'm sure there will be lots of variations in sound. Awsten said in an interview that it has like a super ugly punk song.

 

Also release date is the 21st!

 

I wonder how many interludes will be on there. at least 2 + maybe an intro track and outro track?
