Weren’t there two people in the car at the end? I’d imagine Looking Glass would’ve blown his cover if he talked to the other guy so I’d be kind of surprised if he was one of them. I think it’s probably more likely he’s already back at the Seventh Kavalry hideout undercover, right? idk I guess that’s assuming the members all know each other
Manhattan falling in love with another masked adventurer wouldn’t be super weird but I do think there is gonna be a bit of work to stick the landing on explaining why he was back on earth / forgot his memories / etc etc. they foreshadowed the twist and did it well but now I want to see how much sense it makes within the context of the story. Re-watching episode 7 the scene that shows the eye windows in the courtroom officially have me convinced that Veidt is in the statue or something like that.
We already know how Dr. M loves to trade in his aged significant others for a younger woman so it isn't too farfetched an idea. I'm guessing while he was gone from the planet, he saw something in the future that doomed humanity, so he came back to Earth with whatever plan he has going right now. Or he just got lonely, also a possibility.
Still wonder if we'll see him this season at all, doesn't seem like joe will be the one setting him free.

Did y’all see the theory that Lady Trieu was saved by Dr. Manhattan after her mother was killed by the comedian? Thought that was interesting. Edit: I guess it wouldn’t make sense since Bian is having memories of herself when she was old. But would’ve been cool!
