This looks hella promising. Didn’t like the movie but I love the book and I hope that since this is a made for television story it’ll be of high quality.

 

I know it’s just a teaser but it looks like they actually didn’t fuck this up

I don't think it's clear yet. Jeremy Irons is playing Ozymandias, and Jean Smart's character is named Agent Blake, which can't be a coincidence. Otherwise it looks more like it might focus on the idea of the every man/woman as vigilantes, rather than a specific group of them.

I personally think the way everyone is referencing the ticking clock in the trailer is kind of hokey, given that it was only really part of the meta-narrative. I guess they needed something as a marketing hook, though. I'm definitely still interested, regardless.

I need to read through this again, it's been years. Glad I held onto the graphic novel. I haven't read it since the movie came out

 

Haven't read this and I barely remember anything from the movie but damn if that teaser didn't get me pumped

 

Can’t wait to have a million questions posed and maybe a quarter of them answered!
