That episode was fucking great and I still have so many questions and I’m bummed because it looks like we won’t be getting them next episode.
It seems pretty crazy that they would show Veidt's confession to every single newly elected senator. Seems like a good way for the truth to eventually come out.
In regards to Veidt, Lindelof noted in an interview that veidt is indeed on Europa and that every time we see him in each episode, except for the single one where he doesnt appear, a year has passed in his time
Just had a thought.. why didn't Keene just have Angela killed if he was going to kill Looking Glass anyway? He's killing a cop in both scenarios, so it's not like he has some code against cop killing.
Just watched and holy shit. I feel so bad for Wade. Poor dude. I really hope he finds a way to not get got. very heavy on the WHAM this week Still not sure what’s going on with Veidt. I mean obviously we know what he’s trying to do, just not sure how it’ll play in to the main plot of the season at this point. Keene being a 7K was predictable, but I still liked the reveal with Wade just calling him out ASAP lol looks like next week is gonna be Ten Thirteen of this show, where we’re put on pause from the answers to what the fuck we just watched for an episode. Though honestly it looks like the episode itself will be more International Assassin in spirit lol
which is why we always see him getting served a cake (I forget if they say it's a birthday or anniversary cake though) Also for what it's worth, I don't think the Cavalry are going to kill Wade (just yet, at least.). He already seemingly bought in enough to get Angela arrested, it seems like they could still use him.
This was actually quite an interesting origin for Wade with how the rest of his story played out that episode. Best one yet.
This episode felt like it finally kicked the gears in motion in terms of connecting the scope of the show. Linking Veidts composition of the hoax to the inauguration of Redford, and his subsequent enprisonment tells us a lot about his character, and gives us a foreboding nod to how formidable the “villain” really is and the music for this episode was by far the best this season
