Wonder if any of these new cities would be the same size with 6+ stages or would they do a smaller fest with only 2 side by sides, like how riot fest did their smaller fest in Denver and Toronto
There's a lot of space at Suffolk Downs, but that might just be me wanting it to be closer to the city
That was my initial thought but that spot has a capacity of like... 8.5k now? Definitely a nice GA outdoor venue but based on this year I would assume they'd need somewhere bigger. But I'm also not sure how much ability there would be to 'expand' on that space. It's been years since I've been there so I don't know what the new venue set-up is like.
Warped Detroit would make a lot of sense, Detroit was always one of the best selling dates of the festival on a national basis.
I've only been to one Warped date in Detroit, but it was 2005 and the year of Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance when they were using the Silverdome parking lot. I'd love to see them return as a midwest date that isn't Chicago.
I started going in 2009 and apparently Detroit always does super well as a hot spot for surrounding areas. The one time I'm thankful the surrounding midwest markets already have prominent rock festivals, haha.
last puzzle piece to fall is the orlando sideshows. i think about the sweet pill/shikari one pretty often so i hope we get some decent stuff.
Any chance anyone has a running list of what bands are playing what days for Orlando? I know a few bands have accidentally posted / some bands are on tour and playing a different city on one of the warped dates, just more curious than anything what the spread is going to be like
My old ass might be considering selling my Orlando tickets just because of minor inconveniences. Camping World Stadium parking is awful but they offer an amazing free shuttle from downtown. I usually pay $11 to park in a nearby garage and get on a comfy air-conditioned bus to the venue. It looks like they aren't running the free shuttles for Warped and instead Warped is doing their own shuttles for $102 per person for the two days. And the pick up spots are nowhere near the hotel I have booked so I'd have to also pay to park elsewhere or get a ride to a pickup spot.
$51/day for a SHUTTLE is insane. I did a hotel shuttle for South by So What in 2022 that was like $20 a day and even that felt like a LOT.
I parked offsite and shuttled for the Oasis show at the Rose Bowl over the weekend which was $30. That was crazy to me. I couldn’t imagine paying $50 for that
I posted about it on the Warped Subreddit and there are plenty of people saying $100 is a steal and worth it compared to Uber costs. lmao
I haven't been to this location since the last time warped was there but I parked on the street for free like a block away from the venue.
If Its like edc orlando you mostly just park in the backyards of the people that live on the block for 20 bucks. It always seems sketchy but I've been doing it for the last 10 years with no problem
Suddenly very glad I went ahead and got tickets for that lol. Just them alone makes it worth it for me.
I just called that number and it was Kevin Lyman saying he was an ordained wedding minister and he can marry you. He then says that if you're calling out the big announcement on 11/24 "let's just say, love won't be the only thing in the air." Weird and cryptic but... Could it be Denver for 2026? Mile-high and all that.
