well that's a shame, was hoping they'd do atlantic city on the beach again or at least something in my area. Not sure that week they are doing DC works for me anyway
Having the CA date in Long Beach is a great idea. Perfect middle spot for people in LA and OC and it’s right next to the water so it’ll be much cooler. It’ll feel just like the Ventura date they always had Not that I need an excuse to go, but LB is also happening the weekend before my birthday…
Merriweather has its main stage + a smaller outdoor stage they use for festivals, which feels more fitting here. Merriweather also hosted All Things Go + Sad Summer last year. RFK is not an option at this point.
Yeah I’m curious as to what the lineups will be like. Will they skew more towards classic 90’s/early 2000’s lineups? Will it be a mix of all eras?
id really love to see No Doubt booked on one of them. still shocked we didn’t see more shows after how well the Coachella set was received.
I was thinking they’d do it at the Queen Mary where Cali Vibes (or whatever that reggae festival is called) hosts every year EDIT: Well it looks like they’re actually hosting it at Marina Green Park this year. So that could also be an option?
I didn’t realize they were still doing Project Glow at the grounds next year after Broccoli City moved out last year, which makes Warped a few weeks after make more sense. I know RFK demolition got the thumbs up, but I guess any progress on that front may not affect the grounds for the time being.
I could see early demo stuff like stadium interior, but this will probably just be in the parking lots.
lol people in the comments are complaining about the prices. $150 including fees is *extremely* reasonable
