Did Reel Big Fish ever put out a statement or anything on what they're doing? Like it seems like they've effectively broken up, or are at least on some sort of hiatus?
Basically, from my understanding, they’re on an indefinite hiatus. Once the pandemic hit, Aaron realized life that doesn’t consist of touring 70% of the year is great and as of now, he’s not 100% ready to commit doing the band full time again. He and his wife moved to Florida in 2020, but they moved back to OC last year which lead to speculation that RBF would come back, but there’s been no news. This is just all from memory. There might be a more concrete answer elsewhere
They've said a bunch of artists "will be announced with the official flyer at the end of our 30 days of warped rollout next week". So that could be as early as tonight, but probably tomorrow or later this week? Id expect almost all the boxes for DC to be filled in then.
from what you said that all seems correct, people summed it up that when Covid hit, he legit kinda had a crisis just about rbf being his whole adult life, and kinda had to come to terms with all that.
Wondering if the announcements today were more low key so they didn't waste the big ammo on the same day as WWWY dropped day 2
Someone said it was confirmed tomorrow the flyer is released but I haven’t seen that confirmation anywhere
The Aquabats are one of the most fun live bands ever. That rules for DC. Also The Aquabats are playing the same fest Bad Religion is in OC next month. So that’s possible
When did that get announced? I know they played the fair last year, but I didn’t see an announcement for this year
They were pretty adamant that there will be no more tickets sold unless they were lying or being very misleading they are sold out
