I enjoyed that Games We Play album. Girl Shaped Crater would’ve been a huge song had it come out in 2005.

 

Yeah Games We Play album ruled. I got caught in a giant traffic jam and missed them when opening for Fall Out Boy a few summers ago so definitely looking forward to checking him out barring conflicts

 

I am actually surprised that some people were saying that Orlando was getting shafted compared to the other ones.

 

Head Automatic really bumped that lineup up. TSL too.

 

Games We Play doesn’t stray too far from Fall Out Boy’s orbit, him being added makes it a little more likely that FOB gets added here somewhere.

Yea also even though they they arent technically a great live band I would have loved to seen Senses Fail and also the maine.

 

Yeah, the other lineups are much better to me. Of course LB is the one I got tickets to, lol.. have some friends out there. There’s a ~60% chance as of now that I ask them to sell the tickets (fine if we even just get half our $ back) and go somewhere else that weekend instead.

 

I think it's been a missed opportunity that they haven't pushed more old punk bands it being the 30th year anniversary and it being in southern California. If the headliners suck on Sunday I might leave early and go to My Chemical Romance.

 

I might sell if it doesn’t get better and just do a trip for a few days out there maybe hit up universal studios or Disney with the fam haha

 

Yeah that’s exactly what I was expecting. I was thinking LB would lean into more of those types of bands. I should be patient since there are still more bands to be announced, but I’m still disappointed

Same here. Ive been telling myself to stop being so negative and wait till the whole line up is announced to judge.

Ah, I stand corrected. I thought Pete was managing them too. Good connections to have, I guess.

 

I remember last year when The Funeral Portrait begged either FFDP or Marilyn to hop on their tour last year (can't remember who specifically) and that left such a horrendous taste in my mouth, and Games We Play just seems obnoxious

 

they paid a shit ton of money to open that tour, weird choice cause I don’t feel like it did anything for them? They seem to be in the same exact spot.

 

It may have gotten them some playlist action and increased streams/monthly listeners but that seems like the extent of it, and we all know streams aren't going to pay those advances back.

 

Being what they are and trying to blend with the Sirius XM and the butt rock crowd was certainly a move that didn't pay off
