I do have to give it to whoever selected the Warped Tour artists this year because looking at this list feels like Warped Tour

WWWY just felt like Hot Topic, but the mix of bands that Warped Tour selects just have a certain blend, expectation, and a hint of “that’s cool” that has a vibe to it. Hard to describe, but I feel it

Head automatica is probably my letlive for a lot of people here

I've been dying to see them and there basically the last emo adjacent band i have left to see before I've seen them all live haha.

Just them being on the lineup makes the ticket more worth it now

 

They’re the ones blocked by WWWY for Long Beach.

I've become a cynic after getting burned out on the 3rd year of WWY, but I am 100% content with skipping warped tour. The lineup is pretty weak imo and so far, no FOMO creeping in. There's a ton of bands on each date that I have never even heard of and have no idea if they're legacy or new. There are honestly like 20-25 bands on the Orlando poster that I don't even know who they are.

Obviously mileage will vary but it's nice to feel good for once about not snagging tickets vs Oh shiiit, I should have done it.

Seems to be a slowdown of announcements today?

 

Letlive isnt on long beach, and has nothing near DC or orlando

Yeah 3hrs and no announcement is weird, wonder if one was pulled out last second

 

weren't they announcing bands every hour or so? if one band pulled out, i can't imagine that would cause a 3 hour gap since they could have announced another band or two in that time.

 

They seemed to mostly be doing it every 2 hours though there were times where it was 1.5 or 2.5 hours.

 

Yeah it was every 2 hours. Weird…

 

Unless my math is wrong, isnt next week the final week of announcements?
If so I would start to get worried if these next couple days don't start ramping up.

 

I know that one band is scheduled to announce on Feb 26th so seems it will go on past next week

I believe there is 11 days after today of announcements. But there is still a ton of bands left to be announced, I think Kevin had said that they were going to be taking a break after the 30 days and then announce the rest of the lineup.
