I loved Warped 2019, and if we had that lineup, i'd be thrilled.. to me it's not really similar to that at all yet. I'm hoping that's the case. I made a trip out of it and will be seeing some college friends that I don't get to see often, so it'll be awesome regardless. But if the announcements continue on this path I may just sell my tickets or only go to one day. Hope i'm wrong but can't shake a pessimistic feeling, lol
I am and I am speaking prematurely because the lineup hasn't been fully announced but so far it isn't even close to how good that lineup was especially because a lot payed double the price for the the tickets this year I also don't mind having so many new bands but the older bands feel kind of underwhelming so far in comparison to 2019
I just went back & added (mostly) every show I've been to into Concert Archives & stumbled across all the paper lineups from every date that I ever went to. You couldn't even just take a picture of the inflatable board then because 1. You either didn't have a cell phone or the camera wasn't half decent until like 2012 and 2. Sometimes the board would change mid-day! So many people in Jelly Roll's crew have played Warped in the past. People that are currently writing for him or are playing in his live band were in Life On Repeat, Sylar, Conditions, & Sleeping With Sirens among others
We didnt get Blink 182 or Every Time I Die in Mountain View but it was pretty awesome. We got Thrice, Circa Survive,Dance Gavin Dance back-to-back to back. This was before all the Tilian stuff. We also got the old punk bands like Bad religion, Nofx, Less than Jake, the offspring,Sum 41, and also bands like. The Used, Four years strong. The story so far. The all American rejects and the starting line it was a good mix of different eras of Warped Tour.
Similar sentiment here, my favorite concert/fest of my entire life was warped 2018 until Adjacent Fest happened. One of the best weekends ever. Also saw Landon there too ever so briefly!
Wow, that Adjacent lineup still holds up. I didn’t even realize Knocked Loose was on there too. It’s a shame it underperformed, especially since 20k doesn’t sound that bad? But they shot themselves in the foot booking it on Memorial Day weekend
Gravas* playing Orlando *Apparently a new band formed by Frank Zumo from Sum 41. Dave will also be playing guitar with them
Yeah that’s cool. Also the spot between Girlfriends and Graves on the flyer seems to fit Good Charlotte pretty nicely
Just realized that The Offspring are ruled out for DC and Orlando, but seems like they could fit on the LB poster?
