It's intriguing that SYG didn't announce any LA-area shows when they booked these reunion dates in the Bay Area.
as far as i know, they're all separate bands/timelines so you don't need to see one to understand the other. kinda like the cloverfield "franchise."
My guess is whatever the safest guess is probably correct. So far no curve balls or anything unexpected. As far as the orlando one goes. At this moment very similar to the 2018 final tour lineup. Sadly one of my least favorite lineup years.
What's everyone's favorite Warped lineup? Of the years I went (2009-2018) I absolutely loved the even years from 2012-2018.
My first Warped Tour was 2001, and my last one was 2010, I think. Every one of those lineups were sooo good. After that, 2010, it was hit or miss and I only went to one more after that, to take my youngest brother to his first concert. Can't remember which year it was. Whichever year had Hyro Da Hero.
Out of the years I went (2011-2018, minus 2015), I’d say 2014 or 2016 were my favorite 2017 was really fun tho
Yeah Warped Tour will never get as good as it did in 2005. I think I still remember every act I saw and in the correct order: Relient K - The Starting Line - Motion City Soundtrack - Thrice - Mest - Senses Fail - Dropkick Murphys - My Chemical Romance - The Offspring - Fall Out Boy. I think I even caught Acceptance somewhere in the midst of all that too.
I remember Kevin saying in an interview that 2005 was the most successful Warped. I think it’s clear why…
The All-American Rejects, MxPx, Transplants, Thrice, The Starting Line, Mae, Underoath, Motion City Soundtrack, Relient K, Fall Out Boy, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, My Chemical Romance, Paramore on Shiragirl stage, TREOS on Ernie Ball ... man.
2003 will also hold a special place in my heart since it was my first Warped Tour, and also Taking Back Sunday's first show with Fred and Rubano. The crowd was absolutely wild for that set. That day I also caught Brand New, The Used, All American Rejects, Rancid, Tsunami Bomb, The Arrogant Sons of Bitches, Face to Face and Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies.
2003 was also awesome. On the amphitheater stage one after another at my show were Brand New, Yellowcard, The Rejects and Coheed
2003 was definitely the peak for me. The main stage was stacked with "old" favorites (Less Than Jake, Rancid, the Ataris, Dropkick Murphys, Pennywise, Face to Face, Suicide Machines, Me First) and newer favorites too (Glassjaw, Thrice, the Used, Mad Caddies) with a set of second stages loaded with bands I was just getting into (Coheed, Brand New, All-American Rejects, Yellowcard, Tsunami Bomb, Avoid One Thing). And I'm pretty sure that date broke attendance records for the tour at the time. Between the smaller bands starting to break-through on radio/MTV, the Ataris having a "surprise" radio hit, and the Murphys starting to pick-up steam in the Boston area it was a pretty perfect storm. I got there super early but I remember the news doing all this coverage of it because people were stuck in traffic for so long getting off the highway they were just parking their cars on the side of the road and walking. I almost want to say that 2004 was more fun but... The MA date got a bonus day for the 10th anniversary show that was completely different than the rest of the run so that's a cop-out. LOL
I have my full day list/schedules of who I saw for every year from 2006-2012, but never really have been able to recall or recreate what my 2003 or 2004 schedules looked like
