I think it is a pretty normal reaction to be slightly disappointed when bands skip our cities but I know every Warped tour I went to they delivered a quality lineup overall. Anyone see a chance Thrice is playing based on the boxes? Lol

Yeah I feel like the biggest names we’ll see are 311, The Offspring, Avril, A Day to Remember and 30STM.

But if people really had their expectations set too high then that’ll mean it’s easier for me to snag a ticket on stubhub

They could maybe fit on the Orlando poster?

Is there room on those posters for Lights? Would make a whole lot of sense if so....

Yeah... me too. For those born in the mid-90s like myself, feel like we're getting a lot of either very new bands or very old. Hoping more of those in the middle like the ones @brosen87 mentioned get added to Long Beach soon

Definitely room on the Long Beach poster considering there’s several spaces between Honey Revenge and Lolo. Save one for Less Than Jake, they seem like a lock here.

  9. Looking at Long Beach especially, there’s still soooo many bands to be announced. Everyone complaining online about the lineup so far and threatening to sell their tickets is sooo funny. People are so ridiculous sometimes.

I hate how toxic it gets on social media, I think we are only at around 12% of the lineup for long beach

Knowing Lyman said something around 120+ bands for Long Beach and we’re maybe at 10%, I’m content to wait. I got in at Tier 1 VIP and I’m taking my soon to be 8 year old for his first show, they could announce 5 bands I like and we’d have fun. He’s into State Champs so far.

They would also complain just as much that there were too many bands to see in one day. Part of the fun of warped was seeing the lineup morning of and then trying to sort out clashes

  13. Yup I remember watching a band for 15 mins on one stage and then running to the opposite end of the fairpark to see the last few mins of another band. Just trying to catch a few songs of as many bands I could.

Yeah, to be clear i'm not really complaining, just a tiny bit disappointed so far.. but acknowledge there's a ton of bands left to announce. And it's more about "These bands are playing the other shows, not LB" than it is "None of the bands playing any of the shows are good." Sort of a luck of the draw about which band plays which date, and I feel LB has been on the short end of the stick so far

But that'll turn/even out. Frankly, i'd rather there be 12-15 bands I like playing than 30-40 anyway. At WWWYF, I literally loved 70% of the lineup, and was only able to watch maybe 8-9 bands of the 30-40+ that I wanted to see. WWWYF is one day though of course, so that's a big difference here with Warped being two days

Worst case for me, I get a trip out to southern Cali with some college friends that I haven't seen in a while, even if I don't absolutely love the lineup. Still tons more to announce so i'm excited for that!

Never heard of this band and didn't know it was the singer of Awolnation. I dig it

They were also the opener of some of the blink/Turnstile dates in 2023.

I’m very okay if they announce a string of second or third tier bands for Orlando because the shows all have the same budget and that’s more money to be spent on first tier bands in Long Beach. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
