I know it sounds cute and nostalgic to do the inflatable board, but it’s not a daily traveling tour anymore so it’s kind of not needed. just give us the schedule a week before and allow people to plan their days.
Do it old school, have one of the bigger bands like ADTR play at noon or something, really ruffle some feathers
I don’t specifically recall if the inflatable was there in 2019 but we did not know the set times until day of. I remember standing in line and hearing Atreyu and thinking “well I guess I’m missing them” and being surprised Bowling For Soup wasn’t on the main stage. They had an app I believe that had the schedule at like 10am.
there is a bit of a misconception with this, cause I’d say by 2002-2003 there were absolutely bands that started not play by x time. And by what 2008? 2009 the main stages always were opening with bands rotating from the side stages
I have a strong tingling feeling that Yellowcard will be on the Orlando date. Could also be my third espresso this morning causing the tingling. Stay tuned
Oh hell yeah The Starting Line! DC is closet to me, but I do like the idea of escaping the NY cold in November and heading to Orlando. TSL, The Maine and Drain is a decent start.
Yeah, thinking the same. They’re doing international for a lot of the spring/summer so feels like warped and maybe another few festivals will be their US stuff
Oh god I hadn’t considered this posibility but I am now. Jack’s Mannequin has a show in Orlando in November so they’re not likely for Warped there but they are off that weekend… Maybe Something Corporate would play?
So looking at the Orlando poster, there's one gap between The Maine and TSL and it's rather long. What "The" bands with M thru S are there...? The Movielife? The Menzingers? The Offspring? The Spill Canvas?
I hope they do inflatable blowup and don't announce schedule until day of. Go totally old school. That was the most exciting part. Getting their early and realizing Less Than Jake is going on in 5 minutes... go go go
Surprised Buddy is doing this considering his vocal beef against Fronz and Warped in general back in 2015.
