Her top two songs have +120k streams and 100k streams since the announcement yesterday. Looks like she was averaging about half of that a day for the previous month. Seems like the strategy works.
Explain to me how getting people to check every two hours instead of once a day is a bad marketing strategy
So if people just check at the end of the day how would that be any different if they just released it at once? They’d still check once a day lol
It's sold out so it kinda doesn't matter how they roll these out. LOL But this is a good strategy if you want to really pump up social media interactions, views, etc.
It isnt a bad marketing strategy, great way to keep your festival's name trending throughout the day/weeks, plus the constant engagement on their socials. But as someone who isnt even going, I just want to see the entire lineup now and figure out if I should feel FOMO or not
Every festival under the sun releases the whole lineup at one but sure I guess, let’s just be weirdos about it.
Just sounds like you want to know the lineup which is fine but doesn’t mean it’s “bad” to do it a different way. Just check back in a month instead of complaining every day about it would be my suggestion
