So kevin lyman said they will be announcing 5- 7 bands a day for 30 days, and that they will announce special surprise acts the week of the shows.

I'm wondering if orlando bands will even be announced with it being so far away

 

Yeah I’m guessing we are getting a lot less Orlando bands than DC and Cali for the early part of announcements.

 

Had my first Warped Tour dream in a while last night lmao; I used to get them all the time leading up to the festival every summer

 

Taking my 7 year old (he’ll be 8 at the time) for his first show. His wishlist includes Yellowcard, Simple Plan, and Relient K.

New Warped tour merch dropped on their website, 100% of the funds goes to help with the california wildfire

 

Kevin’s AMA just wrapped up, he mentioned some new info:

- 8 stages for Long Beach and Orlando, configured as 4 sets of side by side stages. One band finishes, the next starts.

- Ernie Ball Battle returns, announcing 1/23 at NAMM.

- Lot of people reached out to Kevin to play, some he hadn’t spoken to in 5+ years.

- Some crossover with EDM artists expected.

- All shows had an equal budget for talent.

- Set times announced day of, inflatable schedule returns.

- Special gift being planned for VIP along with entry lane, viewing area, AC restroom.

- Comp CD will return.

- Lineup includes special reunions.

 

Not sure if this means they're playing Long Beach but Blink was suppossed to play at the Long Beach state of the city broadcast as the suprise band part of a "Warped Preview" that was canceled because Travis and his family had to evacuate because of the fires recently.

 

I was close; I’d guessed Offspring but Blink makes sense. That random Denny’s show they played was Long Beach too.

 

If Blink plays the LB date I’m gonna kick myself for not getting a ticket

 

I’m calling a Sugarcult reunion for at least one of the dates.

 

I’m also interested to see what type of reunions they get on board
