that's an embarrassment if lineup is real

 

It’s like a tenth of the lineup if it’s even real. Let’s relax lol

 

Literally nothing is confirmed and there’s 75-100 bands over two days. Why get angry about something that isn’t even real

 

I think the reaction to that set is a good indication that a slow lineup rollout is generally a bad idea in 2024, but it doesn't really matter too much for warped since they already sold a huge chunk of tickets.

That being said I am immensely hyped for chunk

 

Man, from the bands I recognize i'm only excited to see The wonder years, and Enter shikari.

I should probably check out more of Hot Mulligan

Hot Mulligan. But they’re not someone that particularly excites me. More of a “I’ll check them out since they’re here”

 

I’d be hyped to see Chunk but no way they are playing all 3 dates. I can see them planning a tour between the 2 summer dates but can’t see them also flying in for Orlando. I think it’s gonna be one or the other.

 

Add Miss May I to this list. Someone within their camp confirmed this

 

Just like when Dr. Ian Malcom asked if any dinosaurs were on this dinosaur tour... So are there any punk bands on this punk festival????? Give me Bad Religion, Rancid, Face to Face, Suicide Machines, Lagwagon, etc.....

Came here to post that. Long Beach is at Tier 5 for GA and Tier 4 for VIP.

 

I'm sure there will be punk bands on it but not those you listed. While maybe the OG Warped Fans would be happy how many OG warped fans do you think even care about going to this or know its happening?

 

Just listened to Kevin on a pod from the other week called Creatives Prevail. He said:

- Will be old guard mixed with new bands. This will not be like WWWY
- Some bands passed because financials don’t work for them anymore (not a shocker)
- Exploring an Acoustic tent
- Will be Non-profit heavy again
- Discussing bringing back canned food donation for early entry
- New artists he’s been paying attention to: Honey Revenge, LoLo, Scene Queen
- Mentioned Jelly Roll’s band are all ex-Warped musicians (? Didn’t know that)
- Hundreds of bands/managers have hit him up since rumors starting spreading of the tour coming back

 

I really enjoyed the interview, Kevin Lyman has me hyped for the shows.

 

He has members that played in Sleeping With Sirens, Sylar, Broadway and probably some other places

 

Everyone of my friends who listen to punk.

 

Kevin Thrasher (ex Escape the Fate, Love Hate Hero) produced his record. He is Travis Barker's right hand man in the studio.

 

Zero interest in this, looks very Bamboozle-esque.

 

To be fair Bamboozle was charging $400 for tickets. I don’t think the lineup would’ve gotten as much blowback if it was priced like this at under $200.

But also that whole Bamboozle debacle is exactly why I would never buy tickets to this (or any festival) without a full lineup first

 

I meant more that the lineup looks bamboozle-ish. This doesn’t look to be for people who went to Warped pre-2010. Kevin mentioning that this is not WWWY tells me everything I need to know.

Ahh then yeah 100% agree. Which is a shame because that 2019 AC Warped was very catered to the 1999-2007 era

 

i think people should stop assuming so much about a lineup of 75-100 bands
