I’m expecting lots of those for Montreal. Kevin said 80 bands about and Montreal currently has like 60 spots.
I was under the impression the poster was just for the 30ish days and we'd get a new one after that that kept being updated until July or whenever
The poster is the final lineup. They don’t unveil all of the bands during the 30-ish days but keep some blanks until closer to each date.
I actually don’t know if you are completely right on this one, they added folks to the poster at all dates last year, like someone stated above as well that Montreal would have the most added bands after the 30 days of warped.
I’m going off of what happened last year for Long Beach, so it could very well be different this time. It was just the one poster, and they only added one or two bands who hadn’t been on the original line up (Boys Like Girls was one, iirc).
There was revealing bands that were still blacked out after the 30 days of announcements and there was adding bands that were not on the poster at all
Yeah last year the boxes stayed blacked out on the poster for radius clauses. There was only a handful of bands added that didn’t have a spot when announced. Once Kevin said 80 bands I assumed we’d get a second poster but now that suckerpunch was added I’m now thinking same poster.
Long Beach and Orlando as well. They are my favorite Mexican pop punk band from the early 2000's and probably one of the headliners for Mexico. I would recommend them to anyone going to Long Beach or Orlando to check them out
Good catch I literally just seen the title “Division is excited to play Warped Mexico” clearly should’ve watched the video or read the description.
I like the lineup overall, but I wish there were more 2010's tumblr-era pop-punk bands. I tend to associate Warped with bands like Neck Deep, The Wonder Years, State Champs, Seaway, As It Is, Knuckle Puck & Real Friends. Other than a few exceptions (TSSF, Boston Manor, Set It Off) it feels like we're mostly gettings 2000's bands (Jimmy, Mayday, ATL) or 2020's bands (Hot Mulligan, Honey Revenge, Magnolia Park)
Circa looks like it fits but Long Beach is before Louder Than Life which is labeled as the “reunion show”
TWY, State Champs, Knuckle Puck all played multiple dates last year so it makes sense why they’re out. But agreed on some key omissions like Citizen, Real Friends, Neck Deep, Grayscale. I know the 2010s era Run For Cover bands don’t really do Warped but it’d be cool to get Turnover, Tigers Jaw, etc.
I feel like Real Friends might still be in play here for a few of these and I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that Set Your Goals is the spot after Set It Off in LB.
