You know, these lineups being filled with well known bands makes me really sure WWWY isn’t happening this year.
I’m starting to get worried about set time conflicts lmao. Last year there weren’t really enough “I have to see them” bands for me to care, but it feels like they’ve announced multiple “OMG Yay!” bands in every announcement this year.
I'm feeling the same way - there were a few must see bands I caught last year but for the most part I bounced from stage to stage catching parts of a bunch of bands I'd never seen before. This year feels a lot like a WWWY lineup where I want to see everyone and we're not even halfway through the lineup. Maybe it's crazy, but I'm starting to think maybe even a third half-day on Friday night might be appealing to cut down on some of the conflicts.
They had the side-shows last year on the Friday, so I’m hoping at least one of those will have some of the bands I’d be conflicted about missing. But I agree, the scope this year does feel more like a two-day WWWY (or the warped shows of old) than last year did.
It seems like bands are trying to not repeat dates from last year, so ADTR being one of the big names for Montreal makes sense just like Sublime is.
yeah Kevin seems to be sticking with the “no main stage repeat bands” rule he had when the tour was cross country.
Depends. Do you want to be walking distance? Or Metro distance? Avoid driving if you can. Although, last year the driving/parking was 50/50 on good v bad reviews.
does that mean TBS is in for those dates too? wait that bayside/tbs tour is in sc on june 12 and 14…kinda weird they’d route to dc and back to play this but ♂️
