With how successful last year was, I'd say expect a few more unexpected bands like that. I assume many bands are more interested in playing the fests now
Also just realized that none of these are sold out yet. Could explain why they are announcing heavy hitters pretty early instead of last year’s model of platforming the smaller acts

The Great South Bay music fest in NYC on 7/23 (Thursday) probably rules out a couple rumored ones for Long Beach unless they're flying in - The Used, Cartel, Motion City Soundtrack, and Koyo are playing that day.

You all got excited about Jimmy Eat World like normies. I got excited about Hot Chelle Rae because I am an elite connoisseur of music. Just bought two tickets to DC, Long Beach, and Orlando.
I mean you had people basically rioting online and demanding refunds because they started with lesser names. Def the way to do things is this way.
last warped tour i barely watched the main stage because all of the artists i wanted to see were side stages. i feel like the main stages are gonna be crazy good this year.
