I stopped buying these compilations about 5 years ago...Not enough interest for repeat spins and the tracks are usually outdated. The new Silverstein track "Ghost" is great tho!
I haven't bought one since probably 2006 or so. But I used to look forward to these every year as they helped me discover a ton of bands I grew to love back in the day.
My favorite all time track from one of these was from 2003 I think and was a song featuring Matt Skiba and Avoid One Thing. I think it was called "Pop Punk Band"
It's from an EP they put out last year. They recorded it in 2 days and it's all songs they had written prior to their debut album.
