The "pit" holds about 30 people and then it's all seating. Aestheticially it looks cool, but I can't even fathom seeing Andrew WK, Four Year Strong, and Man Overboard in this
Not gonna lie, as a young old man that’s kinda ideal for me haha I found my way to the top floor of the monster truck so I’m in heaven through Set Your Goals
So how much of that last set train wreck you guys think was planned? There’s no way in hell a festival of this size wouldn’t have arranged for their headliner to fly in months in advance
NOFX was scheduled to start at 9 before having their set pushed back to 9:30. Their plane landed at 9:51 They had bands like Thrice, Sum 41, The Starting Line, and Atreyu doing sloppy NOFX covers to stall. Feldman ended up doing 1 1/2 Goldfinger songs (he just stopped playing the second one in the middle)
That fake Nofx cover set and then the NoFX set was the most punk rock thing ever. And it definitely wasn’t planned they even said they had plane issues with cancellations and delays.
Yeah Fat Mike and other members posted about their travel difficulties today on their instagrams. Definitely was not planned
Damn that's crazy. How long did NOFX actually play? Defintely doesn't sound like something that would be planned.
Unfortunately because of the venue curfew they had only about a 35 minute set. And a lot of that was plagued with technical difficulties because of the rapid changeover but it was stil dope
Yeah that whole thing was incredible. A much better story to tell than "I saw NOFX play an hour long set to close out Warped". Thrice KILLED that Linoleum cover hahaha
This whole thing was pretty great all around. I might do a breakdown of it on my flight home, but all in all I had a great time
Just missed Man Overboard but caught Andrew WK and Four Year Strong. Andrew WK was a lot of fun and felt more intimate because of the ampitheatre. Four Year Strong was one of the best crowds of the whole weekend. Non stop crowdsurfers over rows and rows of bleachers.
Everyone came up on stage and had a blast. It felt more fitting to have a final set where everyone was involved and the headliner came out to close it out and refused to leave the stage until they were basically kicked off. Definitely the best ending I could have had
Holy shit I just found our about the nofx thing. That is so fucking rad!!! I'm crying I didn't go Now
