My tickets for Mountain View *finally* showed up today -- why are they all weird and small and with no bar codes? Never gotten Ticketmaster/Live Nation tickets like that before...
Hold them up to a light. There’s a little chip, like a debit card, in all the tickets. It’s very odd.
Hey y'all, it's been a minute. I'm currently en route to San Francisco via a family vacation and ending it with Warped. It's been a trip trying to get here and stay here for this, and even then Idk where I'm gonna sleep, but I'll be there. Still holding out for ETID as a last minute addition. It's been a wild ride since '09 and it felt right to be there for the last day, even decided to wear the NOFX shirt I wore to my first Warped to the last day. Hope to see everyone in the pit one last time.
09 was my first warped tour as well. It only feels fitting that I am traveling to the last show to see the bands I started it with; NoFX, Bad Religion, Less Than Jake and Anti-Flag. I’m not ready for it. I cried in NJ because I knew it was the last one I was going to with my brother. But I feel I will cry again out here’s in California.
Dude I cried after Pomona last year. It hit me hard. I'll be a mess Sunday night, but I'll be happy that I was there. Warped has been my life and helped me open the doors to so many new things. It's been an honor speculating, posting, singing and moshing with you all.
Hopping on a plane to head to California tonight, super goddamn stoked for Warped (and a much needed vacation, obvi).
Excited to finally see I the Mighty, but I don't know what to expect from them in this capacity, given that they have a few albums with different sounds...what should I expect? Anybody have any ideas set list-wise?
I just them play 4x with Anberlin and as someone who had never heard a song before that tour I felt like their setlist sounded good and cohesive to me...but maybe longtime fans might have other opinions?
Depends where you're staying, but if you're willing to venture to the East Bay, I guarantee a good time if you're even casually into wrestling at Hoodslam. They run every Friday night in Oakland. 21+, full bar, $20.
The setlists for their recent shows with Anberlin seem relatively accurate for what to expect from them. I always want more off of Connector but Psychomachia and and Lying Eyes are always jams. I'm hoping against hope that Tilian might hop on stage for Silver Tongues but we'll see.
Just wondering, does Mountain View have dust pits or just straight pavement? I’m used to having wild ass dust mosh pits back in Hartford and was wondering what it’s like here
Times are up on the app Meg & Dia conflicting with Set Your Goals Bad Religion conflicting with The Aquabats! Other than that today works great for me
Have fun today everybody! Breaks my heart that I can make it up this weekend, but go crazy in the LTJ pit for me! (But seriously fuck that Aquabats/Bad Religion conflict. Maybe I should be glad I couldn’t make it...)
Silverstein/Aquabats conflict is a huge bummer, but other than that everything works out gravy for me
